"It's Hip to be Square" - Watch Trend

Geometric and square is where it’s at for watches, this season. Add a splash of color in the dial, accent it with crystals or diamonds, oversize it and your timepiece will transpose to a “gotta have” fashion statement.

Since most of us own cell phones, having to rely on a watch to give us the time, is not critical or even necessary anymore. This dawned on me when one day I noticed my children and many of their Millennial friends weren’t wearing timepieces, however all of them owned watches. Interestingly, their watches were worn as an accessory – an expression of themselves.
